Terms & Conditions

By booking a service with Krystina Gibson, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline our responsibilities and your obligations when using our cat nanny services.
1. Services Provided
We offer in-home cat care services, which may include: Feeding, litter cleaning, medication administration, and playtime. Daily visits or overnight stays as agreed. Updates via text, photo, or email (upon request). We do not provide medical or veterinary services unless in an emergency (see section 5).
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email, text, or online form). A deposit or full payment may be required to secure your booking, particularly during holiday periods. Payments must be made via [payment method – e.g., bank transfer, PayPal, cash] by the due date on the invoice. Cancellations made with less than [insert notice period, e.g., 48 hours] notice may incur a cancellation fee.
3. Access and Property
You agree to provide clear instructions and access to your home (e.g., keys, alarm codes). We will keep your keys and personal information secure and return all keys promptly upon request. We are not responsible for any loss or damage due to faulty locks, security systems, or pre-existing property issues.
4. Pet Health and Safety
You must inform us of any health issues, behavioural concerns, or special care needs in advance. If your cat has aggressive tendencies or poses a risk to carers, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the service. We are not liable for illness, injury, or loss of life due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. pre-existing conditions, escape attempts, or natural causes).
5. Emergency Vet Care
In the event of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact you or your nominated emergency contact immediately. If we cannot reach you and urgent care is required, we will act in the best interest of your cat and seek veterinary assistance. You agree to cover all related costs (vet fees, transport, etc.), and we will provide receipts and updates as soon as practical.
6. Liability
While every effort is made to provide safe and loving care, we are not liable for: Accidental injury, illness, or death of your pet during the service period. Damage to your property caused by your pet. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel a booking by providing written notice. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice may be eligible for a refund or credit. Refunds are not provided for early returns or changes made after the service has commenced.
8. Photos and Social Media
We may take photos of your cat during visits to share with you or for marketing purposes (e.g. website or social media). If you do not wish your pet's image to be used publicly, please notify us in writing.

9. Privacy
All personal information collected is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We will not share your information without your consent unless legally required.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the State/Territory of NSW. Any disputes shall be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
